I haven’t lost my mom or dad. I haven’t experienced loss before in my life, to which I feel so fortunate. But this song made me cry so much. It made me realize how much my parents love me, how much they are there for me, and how much it will hurt when they are gone.

Lost my mother to suicide when I was 17 and my father found out he had terminal liver cancer 8 months later. They passed 11 months apart. I didn't think I'd be crying at 8am, but here we are. This song is lovely and you're amazing for this❤

Wow I didn't expect all of this, but I very much appreciate it. Just wanted to let y'all know that I'm almost 21 now and I'm graduating college a year early. I'm then gonna take a gap year before starting grad school and I'm doing well. I miss them and I'd give anything for them to be here, but even without that I know they would be proud of me. They never hesitated to make sure I knew when they were alive so there's no doubt in my mind. I thank everyone for the kind words and I hope y'all are doing well❤

Can see the pain on your face for your friend. She is lucky to have a friend like you. My friend lost her mom to breast cancer in grade school. I don’t think we all took it seriously enough or even understood it much because we were young. Now that I’m older and still have my mom to call when I need her, I think of her often not having hers. Great song and nice to see how versatile your singing has become.
