This video is about the 52" Gulf Coast Tiara Ceiling Fan in Oil Rubbed Bronze. I got this fan from Dan's Fan City in Leesburg, FL in November of 2022 year in a total of $579.98. $419.99 for the motor, $159.99 for the 194 Tiffany Peacock glass, and $0 for the Gloss Black/Cherry blades, Oil Rubbed Bronze 22 light fitter, Oil Rubbed Bronze finial cap, and shipping. The only reason I bought it is because Gulf Coast fans rarely show up in Hawaii. With a 188x25mm motor helped along with a 5uf start capacitor and 52" blades, performance is on par with the Grand Prix. The speed range for low and medium are not that good from factory. Low speed is 12uf, and medium speed is 20uf from factory. In conclusion, the 12uf (gray wire) is in position 3 and 8uf (pink wire) is in position 2. I have swap the 12uf wire from position 3 to position 2 and 8uf from position 2 to 3 for a mellower low, albeit still having a fast medium like the 2.0 amp Original. This would've been better benefit if it was a 4 speed fan with capacitor values 5uf for low, 10uf for medium, and 15uf for medium-high. This fan was manufactured in May of 2023. I heard this fan will be converted into a 6 speed DC fan along with the Riviera II this year, so that would definitely help give benefit for a better speed range.
