Dota 2 Hero Spotlight - Broodmother

Changes to Broodmother have been made since this video was released. This list will contain those changes (not including number changes, since they are very frequent)

Spin Web: Including the benefits mentioned in the video (minus the invisibility), broodmother and her spiders have free pathing while in the web. This makes her able to walk up cliffs and through trees.

Incapacitating Bite: No longer deals minor damage on each hit, and has instead had its miss chance and movement speed slow greatly increased.

Brood mommy can be pretty scary, I've seen a player get up to 20 spiderlings; couple that with their invisibility and increased speed on a web, she was a real good ambusher, walking on her web is scary <o<

no no, her role is pusher and semi-carry, with those little spider, leave a lane to her in 10 mins, your barrack is done, with that ulti and that passive slow, she will be a monster of physical damages

Love Broodmother, she's really great on the top or bottom and if you place your webs right you can get up and down the line in seconds, which works great with getting away from higher level heroes, running to the shop, or doing hit and run attacks. Once you get your army of spiders up you can just plow through enemy defenses and engulf other heroes and get easy kills.

The effets on Dota 2 are absolutely beautiful, the brood ulit, her sting glows?Thats epic.and the bite leaves web underneath the enemies feet :D, brilliant effects!!!

@Nhordmyr "Jungling" is a term that's used to describe going through alternative pathways and killing creeps for experience and gold. Usually one person ( typically a carry) will do this in order to gain the gold and levels required to quickly reach their potential.

note that spiderites can also be summoned from denied units, not sure in dota2 but it does that in dota

@Garudaism correct, and all the exp and gold goes to the brood mother, you can jungle and lane at once, or more, but ur lings will be spread out more quickly

@Garudaism no, the broodmother uses spawn spiderlings, they are powerful, the spiderites spawn from the newly killed unit, so when spiderlings kill something that thing turns into spiderite

Just tried my 1st game with Broodmother, she's a beast, so fun to play.

Can't wait to see Phantom Lancer added to the Beta. My favourite hero of all time...before he was nerfed to the ground. I still remember doing 1v1 matches with my brother to see which 'Blademaster' was better...axe or Phantom. Used to be epic.
