Steve, Covent Garden - like one of those ancient hornet's or bee's nests, or - ancient villages built into a mountain, used and lived in today by *new generations. Urban archaeology! We watch all these period films, and see Covent Garden or other sites, busy with humanity then, ghosts now - once corseted, and coiffed, vested, and a heck of a lot more formal in speech. Oh, the stories and memories these places hold! Urban music, Steve, and it's deep, poignant. Thank you.

Sunday morning 🌄 treat 😋 of my beloved Covent Garden. ❤. I certainly learnt a lot. I used to 💘 smelling the herb 🌿 barrows. I didn't know that the French hospital only closed in 1992. I loved 😍 that elephant 🐘. I certainly would love 💘❤ to go 🚶 to the Royal Opera House. It was nice to see 7 dials in daylight. You certainly 👍 got a great view of London. It was a shame to see a couple of cranes in the distance. Not the best day on the London Eye. Like you said there are so many hidden spots and gardens and quiet places. I learnt some new things today. I was really surprised 😮 that there are still gaslight. The Apple 🍎 Market better have their mistletoe lights again at Christmas 🎄. Hope you got my thank 😊 you email.

( 9:21 ) I thought it was York’s *The Shambles* that inspired Diagon Alley? 🤔

What have inspired most was street with gas lamps, the garden with the benches. The balcony from one can have a panoramic view is outstanding, gas lamps reminiscing the 19th century London and one street which was famous for the crimes in former days, piccidally line, the video is remarkable

There’s this one man that sings really well but I never found out what his name was. Is there anywhere I can check the performances by chance? Maybe where their names are listed?

Any history about those "crowns" on top the lamp posts, near St Paul's church courtyard?? Fascinating 🇬🇧🎊🇬🇧🎊🇬🇧🇬🇧

Be aware that while you are watching the entertainment, the pick pockets are watching you and waiting for a chance to rob you. I had one target me a few years ago but knowing this may happen, I had put an open mouse trap in my pocket. His scream as it closed on his hand was very loud. So was the laughter when he pulled his hand out with the trap on it. 😅

For the love of God, whatever you do, don’t go to Cafe Nero. It’s extremely average and is basically the Starbucks of the UK. You can find one on every street corner across London. There are much better/more unique places to go to at Seven Dials.

No offense, but not traveling thousands of miles to wait in line for an over-priced ice cream cone with fake flowers on the ceiling, or to take my coffee to a little-known desolate, abandoned look-out area. If you’re trying to promote the area, at least have the common sense to wait for a sunny day. It look like dismal heck.
