Just so you guys know, there is a flashlight upgrade in the daycare (on top of the brown tower I believe), and if you don't get it before leaving the daycare, it's impossible to get for the rest of the game.

If you go through the ball pit and head to the castle tower on the left (staircase is hidden in the dark shadow on the right after the tunnel out of the ball pit). There is a flashlight battery upgrade in a gift box at the top of that tower. Do it after getting the lights back on but before pressing the gate button because when you’re thrown out/banned, there’s no coming back.

Before you leave there is a flash light upgrade that I 100% recommend getting because you can’t get it after you leave.
