Justine introduced me to undertones years ago. Looking more into it you realise it is spectrum as well, so two people of warm undertone will have different perfect colours. Even when you think you're neutral you still probably look better in either warmer or colder shades. I'm cool undertone, but on a scale I would be very far from neutral. My ideal colours are rich, saturated dark cool ones. If I wear grey or pale blue it's quite unflattering.
Justine has great videos about colour in general and I trained my eye to see if a shade has more blue in it or yellow and everything comes together. It's really good to know yours. 😊

I'm pretty sure I'm a neutral but here's the thing. Yellow gold does look too good on me but rose and white gold look amazing.

I also study seasonal colour analysis because it's pretty accurate when it comes to figuring out what colours look good on you!

It goes even deeper than that for olive toned people! A truly misunderstood and under represented skin tone! Took me YEARS of knowing color theory to finally figure out that I have an olive undertone even though I am very light skinned and caucasion. My overcast is straight up yellow but my veins are both blue and green.
I tan very easily and get a wonderful golden tone when I have spent a lot of time in the sun, however in the winter I look very sallow. I have super ashy brownish blonde hair and Hazel eyes. Neutral makeup was always the closest as far as a match but was always too beige on me. It finally dawned on me 2 Yeats ago when olive tone started being discussed more. There are still only a few makeup brands that I have found a match though. Very hard to find a match.
