Stanisław Leśniewski - The Foundations of the General Theory of Aggregates.I

This video goes into some more detail with the contents of the Polish logician Stanisław Leśniewski's 1916 work Foundations of the General Theory of Aggregates (originally Podstawy ogólnej teoryi mnogości).

In this video I will explore some of the notions that Lesniewski defines in this article and make some comparisons with more modern concepts. The contents of this article formed the basis of what Lesniewski would later call 'mereology' (mereologia) and which was more fully explained in his series of articles titled "On the Foundations of Mathematics".
