The California Condor was always a species I knew as a kid that was on the absolute edge of extinction. Seeing its numbers rise is awe inspiring.
Not to mention the mindblowing 2000 Iberian Lynx boom. What a great way to start this week

On the bee populations: The concern isn't about honey bees. It's mostly about solitary bees, which make up the vast majority of bee species. These species are much more effective pollinators because they focus on certain plant species, whereas honey bees visit almost any flowering plant.

Solitary bees are still struggling, and their success will depend on us reducing pesticide usage

I am afraid that every time you open up about the places they have found new species, lots of tourists flood to those places and devastated the area. It is what has been happening in Amazon forest. We have been keeping lots of secrets but it is becoming very hard with the internet.
