LGE 2021 | Five Limpopo villages work together to provide their own municipal services

Residents of five villages in an area just outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo will no longer wait for government to provide services for them. After years of unfulfilled promises and bureaucratic red tape, they're now building infrastructure from their own pockets. They're currently paving the storm-ravaged D3688 road that runs along five villages in the area.

We have to leave our vehicle 3km away from our homes because of mudd, slippery and potholes on our roads. Lets hope this will last longer
