The Button of Doom is unironically a splendid idea for a Megamind sequel. He learned that he can be a hero despite his circumstances in the first film, and realized that what made him an effective villain can also be what makes him an effective hero.
It speaks to the neutrality of the skills we have. They’re not inherently evil, or good. It’s all about how they’re used. I actually had an idea a while ago about a theoretical Megamind sequel. The antagonist was a psychiatrist who used his reputation and experience to subtly manipulate both Megamind and Tighten into getting him the DNA infusion device so he could get Metroman’s powers and create his idealized version of society.

It still scared me how they botched the:
Visuals.
Storyline.
Morals.
Humor.
Overall enjoyment out of the original. The first Megamind became meme famous because it was funny, this is gonna become a meme of shame.
