Give the Ameru a key position in cabinet; Kiraitu Murungi tells President Kenyatta

Meru Governor, Kiraitu Murungi, has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to consider the Meru community in his appointment of Cabinet secretaries and principal secretaries. According to Kiraitu, the Ameru community has supported the Kenyatta family since the times of the first president, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. Kiraitu now wants president Kenyatta to consider getting someone from the three pillars of Meru county, namely; Igembe, Imenti and Tigania sub-tribes to head a key ministry.
