Thanks to people like this who take time to make these videos and help others. All negative people should just keep comments to themselves! He didn't need to do this and he was kind enough to help others. Thank you!

Great video.  Here's a suggestion...  I hated scooping out the oil every time, so I heat up the oil until it's liquid and then measure it out into muffin tins.   My popper uses 1/3 cup of oil, which almost fills a small muffin cup.   After I fill the tins, I put them in the fridge to harden.   After a few hours, I pop them out and put them in baggies.  When I pop some corn, I just pop a "puck" in the popper.  It works great!.  Thanks for the video.  I'm always looking for ways to improve my popping skills.  LOL!  :-)

I worked for a movie theater company for many years.. I can tell you you've got it.. The coconut oil with the Flavacol (used sparingly) will give you the traditional theater popcorn everyone thinks of.. Soy Bean oil, that might be what is in that yellow bottle is the buttery topping that's used because.. Be careful with the coconut oil.. I've seen a lot of movie theater fires that started at the popcorn popper because the oporator let the oil get too hot before adding the popcorn...

What's the shelf life on a 50lbs bag though, will you get through it in time? :)

Great video. One tip to those who want to buy white coconut oil at the grocery store is to make sure to get refined coconut oil. Unrefined coconut oil will make the popcorn taste like coconut. Not a bad thing, but some may not appreciate that. I actually don't mind it. The coconut oil sold as movie theatre oil is refined and colored with beta-carotene and does not impart any coconut flavor, but adds a nice bright yellow tint to the final product. We eat with our eyes, so that yellow color is very visually appealing. Love my popcorn!!!

Just a warning with Flavacol. When measuring it out, go by the chart on the carton for how much popcorn you are popping. It is very high in sodium, so don't over do it.

The Flavacol provides color too. You can use white coconut oil and the popcorn will still have a yellow color. It will just be a bit lighter yellow.

You can also get these at your Foodservice warehouse. I got mines at the Shamrock Foodservice Warehouse in New Mexico.

I was kinda hoping to see you measure out, scoop and mix the batch into the machine as well. Our machine is similar size, and it would be nice to see you go about the process. Not just point out ingredients. But thank you! This helps.

Yes, a lot of theaters use coconut oil, but canola oil is another big one that theaters use and is an option for y'all to use as well!
