Your observations and interpretations are amazingly spot on, Rashel! In the scene reminiscent of The Last Supper, if you count their shadows too, it actually comes out to 12 people.

It’s revealed in the music video’s making of that the guy with the glasses (Kamiyama) is trying to escape his fate, possibly personified by the guy with the umbrella (Shigeoka).
