I have the same tail pack. As you correctly say i find it way easier just to take the seat off as the unhooking the straps can be a bit of a fiddle after a long day with tired hands. I strap a pair of lightweight trainers on top & cover the whole lot again with an amazon plastic rucksack cover which itself is held on with another strap under the bag itself. I have also seen a good design from trexracing there in the usa which uses a mounting plate with the seat removed which would allow a decent size top box to be fitted

I purchased the same tail bag, very good quality and simple to install. I find it pretty difficult to get on and off the bike while it's mounted. I need to stand on the foot peg to gain extra height and to being able to swing my leg over it, I am getting old lol.

I wanted the tailbag too, but is too short and too high gor me. Enough would be 1/2 or 1/3 of height.

- Is it the one you can get from a dealer? It looks almost the same.
- is this turn signal from the dealer too or is something custom?

Have the same configuration of tank bag and rear bag on the red RS. 😅

I'm not sure the rear bag might disturb my back while riding because if permanent contact to it. 🤔

So, i have the '21 CBR650R atm...
But, really fancy and close to changing to the new Rs..
Just wondering, now you've got some good mileage on it, what's it like for longer distance, touring and more hours in the sadle, as this is part reason im looking to change..
