Yo San Diego local here! If you can stand the heat in Southeast Asia you’ll survive here LOLOL. It’s really not bad 80% of the year! We have the best weather. Good food and beaches here too and you can afford to live here as a YouTuber. Try it for a year. It’s not like you have to commit here forever. Thanks for the life update!! First off, no cheese is wild. Secondly, the US is just too damn expensive, and as a college student, it doesn’t help at all. Lastly, check out Washington and Minnesota—you can get acres of land for cheap, build your own house, and still be close enough to a big city. At least in Minnesota; I’m not sure about Washington.

Awesome! Carne Asada Fries, Carne Asada Chips, and Cali Burritos are definitely San Diego staples. Everyone gets them a bit different but as long as there’s no beans or rice in them.

I'm born and raised in san diego and didn't know carne asada fries were invented here, I thought everyone grew up eating them! In middle school my science teacher gave us CAF parties instead of pizza parties if everyone passed the exams. and YES cheese is necessary, usually a blend of cheddar and queso sauce are involved. adobada fries are also mighty fine

Consider the healthcare costs between Korea and America. Also, even if you're a homebody, weigh in the politics in the big metro cities. Chicago is not in a good spot. My suggestion is to have your child born in Chicago for birthright citizenship reasons and settle in Korea. The desire to relocate to America would have to be so great that it would be worth it. America is a country divided. Politics are unavoidable. If living costs and weather is a factor, consider Kansas City. The numbers dont lie. If Korea has a better safety net, then settle there. In America, safety nets are eroding based on policies from the duopoly in government. Best wishes.
