Audi R2 XAO close pointless pass

I thought part of driving was thinking ahead, anticipation, knowing where you're going. Apparently not. To be honest I have no idea what he was doing or if he did either. Something tells me he wasn't stopping to take a call but you never know. All I really know is he probably needs a driving refresher course before he causes an accident.
