Russian President Vladimir Putin answered questions from the heads of leading media outlets of the BRICS countries. The meeting took place on the eve of the association's summit in Kazan.

Thank you Professor. My big takeaway was concerning the pace of development of BRICS. I had felt it was glacial but as VVP explained, growth will be at a natural organic rate rather than being hothoused under pressure. Is this a result of the long term view taken by Russia, China and India I wonder. I'd prefer more haste.
