As an owner and builder of the Triton 2TD's I cannot offer a better endorsement then you have just done. I have been an audiophile for over 40 years and have owned many exotic systems. I have never had a better value product in my experiences. Superb quality, great customer service and sound that is flat ass incredible! I have used both the standard tweeter with superior crossover and now the silk dome upgrade with standard crossover. The improved tweeter is a big improvement on an already awesome sound.You should try it. Love your reviews

I built a set of these a couple years ago, absolutely amazing! The biggest sweet spot, sound amazing waaay off axis. Best value in speakers as far as I can tell.

Love this review and the XLS-Encore one! You’re the first YouTuber who’s made any comparison between the two, and I love that!

There are so many other awesome kits out there that I hope you can get to check out at some point. DIY Sound group has some audiophile-centric kits like the Helix, and Rhythm Audio Design has the Slapshot MTM; both of these very may well meet or beat the Encore and Criton, for less money.

Ok, so they're amazing. Sounds like the best money we could possibly spend.

For the ultra cheap audio men who make the leap, and have nothing left but a couple hundred for a 2 channel receiver: how much will we hear? Will we lose all this awesomeness?

Can you hook these up to the cheapest yamaha, onkyo, sony receiver and tell us if it's still worth it? Will there be enough power to have good dynamic range in a typical, bookshelf appropriate setting?

Hey. Thanks for a great review and also for giving your reaction to music that normal people actually listen to. I find a lot of high end audio people gush over rare and exotic recordings of obscure live jazz and cello recordings that are not on the average persons radar. Looking forward to rocking some ... you know Rock music on these babies. Myself and a friend are planning a build.

The vertical vs the horizontal lines on the veneer is driving my OCD crazy LOL. On a side note swords don't actually make a metallic sound when drawn from the scabbard. The scabbards are made of leather in order to get that Hollywood metal on metal metallic sound it would need to be made of metal and the would ruin your edge every time you draw it.

Just curious if GR Research offers a crossover upgrade for the CSS Audio - lol. Anyways, paper hybrid mid ranges are making a comeack because they have superb transient response without the weird breakup as let's say Kevlar. Basically you are paying for the really good woofer with this kit.
