Toontrack Drums are the best to my ears. I wish Roland would just collaborate with Toontracks. Until then I'll just hook it up together. I just get errors or mis hits every now and then with my TD-30KV. Maybe the new Roland 7 series would work. But those sounds in the module sound bad compared to any Toontracks. I use SD3 but any EZ will work with it. I'm trying to get the closest to an acoustic set. This is the best I can think of at this point.

I need a bass articulation midi pack too. The more i can grab and drop the articulations i need, rather than surgically alter it with midi, the better.

Probably for copyright reasons, but so funny how Toontrack recorded a whole Making of without mentioning „Studio 606“, „Dave Grohl“, „Foo Fighters“, „Butch Vig“, „Nirvana“ or „Sound City“ - just sneaking in some B-roll shots with „Sound City“ sign every now and then and one line saying „This room was owned and designed by a drummer“. Well, yes … 😂

How many hard rock EZX do you need???? I wish they would put together a really nice pop/rock brush set....not jazz brush, pop/rock brush kit. I have been asking for years, but all they do is hard rock EZX????
