This happened to me, I use Samsung Galaxy S10+. After trying everything here, nothing worked. At the time, I was only having my Android charger whic I use for my other Samsung phone, so reached out to the small Android adaptor that came with the S10+ phone, slot it into the phone's charging port n then slotted my Android charger behind it, n the USB end into the fast charging adaptor, plugged it straight into the electricity (wall) socket n boom, it worked. With this, it became obvious to me that the type-C cable, only, has gone bad n needed to be replaced. I believe it will go same way, if the adaptor that goes into the wall socket, only, goes bad, in which case u only have to replace that n not the cable as in my case. The only difference is that, charging becomes slow, so u have to replace the bad type-C cable to get ur fast charging back. I hope this helps.

Is there a way to get the "charger connection error" messages to start popping back up? I accidentally clicked "dont show again" but i want to see them, because it lets me know if my phone is connected properly or not. Whereas now i cant tell, so i think my phones charging, just to come back 20min later and its gone up 1%. Very frustrating. With the message pop up, i would know to re adjust my phone before walking away

This happens to me but i know why. It's a Galaxy A40, and there's a chip on the motherboard that i chipped slightly so that happens. It's also not detected by my PC and the battery percentage is stuck at "59%".
