God bless you for bringing the teacher lunch. I was a teacher for 33 years. My last 3 were in pre k. Parents of our babies did this for us. It’s quite a compliment for teachers to have families that show their love like this.

Im from Hawai'i and our state is the highest consumer of spam, 7 million a year! The musubi is a local thing, the McDonalds back home even sells spam and eggs w/rice for bkfst. We have all kinds of recipes for it. When covid started we couldn't find any spam on the shelves, luckily i had a bunch already at home. The musubi set my husband purchased from Amazon was like 6-8 bucks. Since Hawai'i is multicultural, we all put our own little twists in our recipes. Nice to see other ppl enjoy local foods from home. Spam was introduced through the Army. Mahalo Nui loa Schofields Barracks 🤙

Yes girl! Spam is so versatile. My husband is Mexican and I'm Filipino and we have it at least 3x a month. My kids love it. Such a budget friendly, quick to get any meal on the table, and so satisfying for the whole family. Spamily 😂

Use SURAN WRAP and put in the empty spam can, then had the rice and ham to form the shape. Pull the suran wrap out by the side so you don't have to have a hard time digging them out. ❤

I was raised in the sixties on spam and luncheon meat and continue to eat it today even after two heart attacks must be careful! That being said, you and your recipe rocks!
