Seeing that you are Canadian, a little trivia that you will surely enjoy:). The western education system in Bhutan was started in the 1950s by Canadian Jesuit priest, Father William Mackey. He convinced the third King of Bhutan to pick English as the medium of instruction, and that is why most subjects, Math, Science, Geography are taught in English in Bhutan. Even to this day, Canadians play a role in Bhutan's education system with Canadian volunteers. Thank you.

A little correction regarding those who were "exiled". The lhotsampas weren't exiled because of the dress, but because some of them formed groups and rebelled against the government, demanding for a separate state. Our bhutanese lhotsampas weren't "exiled" but only those who had infiltrated from the borders illegally and settled in the land, and had no proof of identity were asked to leave the land as they poseda threat to the sovereignty of the nation.

Today due to their strict rules and strictness, they have been able to protect their environment, ecology, natural resources, wildlife, rivers, mountains, soil, life of various innocent animals, and many other things from human hands(greed). On the demographic information, 50% are identified as 'Ngalop' and not 'Ngolop'... The term we use Ngolop are on those people who are rebellious and goes against the Nation. But, overall, i Thank that guy for a beautiful video about my country and i liked it, however, those small mistakes sometimes can be very dangerous just as that particular term 'Ngolop' which we Bhutanese consider it as a greatest crime

Thank you for the video but most of your information are wrong.
-Current monarch is not 3rd but 5th king.
-Not free visa for the three country you mentioned. Maldives and Bangladesh have to pay same visa like other other countries (250$) Only for India it is 2000 ruppes.
-it is not a tibetan influence culture
-People who knows Dzongkha don't know Tibetan
-BBS is not only in Dzongkha but in English too
- Not only Bangladesh and India Embassy but also Finland embassy in Bhutan. And consulate of Switzerland and Netherland, office of Canada and Denmark.
- And many more small information mistake too.

So would be grateful if you can research before posting the information on internet platforms.

Ur pronunciation is wrong... It's ngalop, not ngolop... It's weird to hear, ngolop means going against the government or kings bro. Though I can understand it... Coz of accent.
