Welcome to this exciting test and tutorial of NVIDIA's open-source Llama-Mesh repository! 🎉 In this video, we explore a cutting-edge example of text-to-3D mesh technology that uses Llama 3.1 (8B) to generate 3D mesh objects directly from simple text prompts.

Whether you're a 3D printing enthusiast, game developer, or just curious about this emerging AI-powered technology, we’ve got you covered! From testing basic to complex prompts, printing a generated object on the Bambu Lab A1 Mini, and walking through an installation guide, this video is your all-in-one introduction to Llama-Mesh.

📌 What You’ll Learn:

1️⃣ What is Llama-Mesh?
Discover how this repository leverages powerful AI to convert text descriptions into 3D mesh files. We’ll show you how these meshes can be used for 3D printing, game development, and more.

2️⃣ Testing Text-to-Mesh
We’ll put Llama-Mesh to the test with various prompts—from simple shapes to challenging objects—and evaluate the results. See the technology’s potential, strengths, and current limitations in action!

3️⃣ 3D Printing a Generated Object
Watch as we take one of the generated meshes and 3D print it using the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. This step demonstrates how easy it is to bring AI-generated models into the real world.

4️⃣ Install Guide
Stick around for a step-by-step walkthrough on installing Llama-Mesh so you can run it yourself! We’ll cover everything you need to get started, including dependencies, setup tips, and troubleshooting common issues.

You've been killing it with the videos recently. Even from my computer, It's kinda amazing seeing a physical object designed by an a.i.

this is pretty nice, had a question what is your setup? number of tokens per second?

Nice content! You would benefit so much from a lavalier mic or shotgun mic to kill the echo in the voice.

This is one of things that feels like it should have happened 6 years ago at the least, way behind where it could have been.

please tell me it's not a windows only program???
Or if it is, do they at least have an API we can use instead?
Some of us DON'T use windows.

Noticed you have 2 24GB GPUs - that should be enough.
Something else has to be wrong. That was not impressive. I've seen much better things already from nvidia in this area (maybe not released yet)
