This is why you should always have a pad of paper and a Sharpie at your bedside. I would like to speak with the person who came up with this. I had to be in a dream. Bravo! I hope you live in a big house on a hill! - DB

That's pretty damn clever... It's like a simpler version of the Persian Joint. I like that you've effectively done away with the intermediate shaft as a standalone part. It doesn't look like it's made using nested spheres, like the Thompson, Rzeppa, and Spherical Levers couplings all are. I really like that the design allows for identical input and output shafts. How bad's the friction on the ball joint connecting the intermediate linkages? This is mechanically simple, probably fairly low cost to manufacture, and it looks robust. Damn fine piece of engineering you have there.

Has this made it into production? I could really use one of those.

This cv joint should be really considered on cars can it take high amounts of torque

Right now how do i make sure the CV boot stays on, and not binding into the mechanism?

Great, since you have reached the 80 ° the next step would be to reach 90 °. I think this design could adsorb vibrations only that the animation doesn't show it.

Hi, thats really brilliant! Do you have any publications of this mechanism? I would like to quote this in my paper. So, any referrence? Thanks a lot!!!
