I absolutely LOVE this advent calendar! I'm so glad that this year's Marvel one is from the MCU (I still think that last year's should've been from the Hawkeye series), and I hope that we continue to get MCU ones in the future!

j2g didn't touch on this in the video cause the photos are blurry, but Nebula's Christmas sweater has a Thanos head on it surrounded by 2 sets of 3 circles on each side, each one a different color representing the infinity stones.

The builds and details are actually good. There is the anulax battery, that dudes eye, the cassettes, the little drones and ships... I just wish they changed up the figs a bit. Especially mantis and rocket. I understand Groot and quill. But the figures need work.
Someone said something cool: if you already have starlord from the benattar, then you can use nebulas head here with his torso from this set to make a ravenger nebula.

Im hoping to get 2, one to use as an advent calendar ever year and one to use for pieces and minifigs (i may also get the Star Wars one, but im one the fence about getting 2 calendars in one year)

Yeah they did the same with nezha even though in the show he stands on 2 flaming rings which his case can be excused but for star Lord they could have LITERALLY put them at the back of his feet (on the bottom studs at the back of his legs) because at least then they wouldn’t stick out or it wouldn’t look like he had 2 gold roller skates on

I am very grateful for Lego doing this tie in of a TV but film based Marvel special project. It's true we haven't really got such tie-ins to specials before.

Technically the 2020 star wars lego advent calander was the first lego advent calendar themed after a special. Cause it featured figures and builds from lego star wars holiday special.

I think that this looks great overall. I think that Drax’s sweater is Groot and that Nebula’s is Thanos, but idk why she would willingly wear a sweater with her father’s face on it. Either we, still going to buy this bc it looks awesome. I’ll also probably get the Star Wars one as well.

I believe Nebula's head is an exclusive variant featuring some of the gold coloring on part of her face to indicate her 2014 variant from Endgame, thus why she is wearing a sweater of Thanos.
