We did not hurt any cats in the making of this video. One cat named Danny became incredibly well fed, though!

Sergeant Meowmers Medal of Honor Citation

"For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty:

Sergeant Mr Meowmers distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty while serving as a squad leader with U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Platoon, Company F, 2nd Underwater Tank Battalion (Airmobile), during combat operations against an armed enemy in Unspecifiedistan on April 5, 2004. On that day, after most of his squad was killed in a close quarters ambush, leaving only Sergeant Meowmers and two other marines alive, one of which was wounded, Sergeant Meowmers volunteered to provide covering fire so that the wounded marine could be evacuated. Sergeant Meowmers moved tactically through withering automatic weapons fire and provided effective suppression against a determined enemy force, killing many of his squad's attackers. Sergeant Meowmers continued to provide covering fire, disregarding his own safety, during the evacuation of the wounded. Sergeant Meowmers actions enabled the evacuation of the remainder of his squad. As the remaining marines were evacuated, Sergeant Meowmers was struck by a single sniper's bullet, mortally wounding him. In this singularly heroic act, Sergeant Meowmers saved his comrades from serious injury and possible death. His personal heroism, extraordinary valor, and inspirational supreme self-sacrifice reflected great credit upon himself and the Marine Corps and upheld the highest traditions of the U.S. Naval Service. He gallantly gave his life for his country."

I can't believe I found this video. I saw it 10 or 11 years ago when I was a kid and I remember going and crying really hard with my dad about the cat. He just told me "I'm going to take away your internet." Now seeing it is very special for me. ❤❤❤
