I am concerned, as we all should be about the growth and adoption of Bots of all sorts!

Thankfully FB just announced that they are going to Stop Bot usage for just Anybody...
They are rolling out an Application Process if you want to Use or Continue to Use a Bot that you will have to fill out and show proof as to Why, How and When your going to use a Bot for.
Then there will be a whole Approval or Denial Process and then you’ll get an answer from FB as to whether you’ve been approved or not to have use of a Bot Under Their New Bot Usage Guidelines.
Facebook just announced this last week.

My personal `stance`on bots (at least, currently) is that they are fine - they have their uses - IF it`s up front that it`s a bot. If it's fairly clear within a few 'responses' that yes, this is a bot, not a real person. . .then good. Great. Fine. It can streamline things. But yeah, as soon as they're NOT identified, or deceit is going on. . .No. Just. . .no.

Although I certainly realize Your "Primary" interests lie in Much Deeper Technology than I am capable of, I was under the impression You included This Particular Channel, "The Boomer Channel", for those, like myself, who are not quite into Tech as much as the Folks that ARE !

I find them a huge pain in my arse! The first question I always ask is “are you a real person or AI?”. And then the darn things lie to you. I’m Barry and work in the system here at Acme Crap .Org or company, 🤓 now is this an Animoji or a cartoon?
Now Steve I must in some way blame you for this. I’m Pooped above and this week with you on the dunny reading the paper makes me unsure 😐 are you a bot? Is the friendly ageing Canadian real?
