What is it about some artists, that characteristic where they can't see how we appreciate their talent as the perform on stage? She is so good at what she does, yet really doesn't seem to believe it. I guess we couldn't possibly se what she's seen; all those times in her music career when people told he she wasn't a good enough singer, or musician, or whatever. Well Amanda, I am here to tell you that you are very good. You should feel good about that, at least part of the time. BTW, thanks for your and Jason's I So Lounging series. It has been a sublime pleasure. Stay safe and lets hope we can all start getting back to normal in another month or two.

Mellencamp has been infusing fiddle/violin in Rock since 1987 and it all started w/ "Paper in Fire" and continued from there.

She reminds me so much of Johnny Gimble. Her fiddle style is so clean and fresh. Just love her.

“Talking about music is like dancing about architecture.” Frank Zappa said something like that…
