I know this isn’t part of the Canuary video list but I just wanted to say thank you. I’m only 2 months into my canning experience but I have fallen in love with it because of your videos. My mom introduced me to them and while we were both a little nervous to start, I tend to jump in to things head first. My first canning batch was your beef stew. I was an anxious mess and paced the whole time, but since then it’s become my most relaxing day off out of almost every week since I started.
I’m not sure why, but I’ve always had an insecurity around food. I over buy, hoard, and then inevitably toss expired/overlooked foods. Which is defeating as a single mother.
I feel such a sense of security the more food I have and your videos are helping me do that in a way that’s organized. And being able to see the food in the jars on my shelf gives my adhd the opportunity to relax. (There’s something about see through containers that calms a neuro-spicy brain). I’ll watch, love, and comment on every video in the hopes of getting one of the wonderful prizes but just the sense of security and accomplishment I get from these recipes and videos is more than enough and I am so grateful to you all for doing this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thanks to my momma if she sees this too. 🥰

HELLO LEIZA!!! Today is Saturday, January 18th, 2025 & Idk how I missed the Announcement of Canuary 2025 video but I did. I just finished watching it and wanted to say thank you for the invitation. I also want to mention I'm just a truckin' right along with all the video content and learning so much among each and every one of the channels that are participating in this wonderful collaboration. I really enjoy all their ideas, suggestions, How-To's, and their own personal experiences. The recipes are spot on, easy to follow and so far every recipe is definitely on my "To-Do" list to prepare. 🙂 I truly would encourage any "newbie" to take part in this fun and exciting event. I’m so excited for this! My very first pressure canner is wrapped and waiting for me under the tree. I foolishly put homesteading on the back burner for YEARS and with all that’s going on in the world, well, the best time to start may have been 10 years ago, but the next best is right now. So here I am, starting right now. I’m looking forward to the videos!
