I'm a custom knifemaker, and I love it. the "fit and finish is not perfect" to me, IS perfect. I love that hand made rustic look. I do like the clean satin look of a finished knife, but the raw rustic look like that one, is where my heart lay!

BTW the knife looks very nice too. I just started doing some blacksmithing here in Virginia and i'll be practicing on Railroad spikes for awhile. Made my first knife but nothing to brag about for sure. Built a coal forge on 3 legs using a large disc from a farm implement. Mainly trying to stick to leather work but wanting to try new things also. Can't wait to see your next video. Thanks Ryan.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. Etsy has lots of Antlers to choose from. It's really worth a look. I know it takes a lot of time to make these, but you could probably sell them like crazy. I love your videos. Not only exceptional work (and I mean it) but so thought through! Rarely do you get gear that's had a lot of practical, simple design behind it and that's made to such a high degree of quality. I was wondering would there be any chance of getting a video of how you design these things? Sketch pad? All in your head?
