I thought you might enjoy this because we just got back from our very first long trip in our trailer. Started in UT to head for TX to see the Solar Eclipse. Three days to get to TX, then 3 weeks to site see on the way to UT. We have listened to all of your videos and love all of them. There was one video where you talked about checking everything when leaving a campground, do a walk around to see if anything was left plugged, windows closed etc. Here is our list of thing that we did wrong.
Things we have done wrong with the trailer:

*Leaving the tire wedges at our second site
*Leaving the front jack down and scraped it across the cement
*Ran over one of the cheap tire wedges. Dad only pulled them out from one side.
*Pulled out of the campsite I saw that one of the tire wedges was off to the side of the tire.
*Renee crushed one the metal dog bowl while retracting the slide.
After leaving the tire wedges I told my husband that you had talked about doing a walk around everytime it saved us so many times. Great advise you can NEVER stress how important that walk around is when pulling out!
Now all of our RV friends ask if we have watched the movie RV staring Robin Williams. No, we have not but plan to.
Enjoy!

I have a list of cabinet measurements on the “note” app on my phone. Then when I am out and see something that may be useful, I know if it will truly fit.

Yay to hear about the daybed! I'm a newbie and had our RV for a week. We opted for a Daybed in the living room and put it together today. It's perfect for me and my husband and 3 year old... For seating and extra sleep space.

Hi, love your ideas! Here’s one I found. I took out the drawers to clean an found a ton of empty space! So I now use it for seasonal footwear! An extra purses.

I found that the spaces on either side of our bed where the slide is, is a HUGE space that I claimed for my fabric since I love making quilts and craft things. We didn't even know this space existed. It's not easy to get to, but is my golden egg!😊😊

I heard of a decluttering post it note system where you must use that item before a date you put on the post it note. It may help decluttering here too!

The title for your second segment is "Asses". I was a little surprised to see you were carrying donkeys in your upper cabs, then I realized you were talking about accessing all your available space...whew! What a relief! 😘 🤣 Just giving you a hard time...I so rarely see you make a mistake. I love seeing you, Charity, and you are an amazing lady! Love from SC, Jane ❤🙏 (and I really do pray for y'all as you travel).

I have many unused storage compartments in my RV. I'm 5'2" tall and they are all over six feet high up to a 10 ft. ceiling. I have my tall son put things away for me or take things down.

When you change or add to furniture, do you weigh the old vs new to make sure the rv's weight is still balanced?

What are your family pictures on? Are they canvas? If so, do command strips hold them up? Or are they on a hard foam with a solid back?

How do you install screws without messing stuff up?? Or do you just use the sticky two sided stuff???

Not related to this video. What do you use for picture frames? I'm looking for something that I can change pictures in on a regular basis and are really thin because they will be hung where the slides come in.

So I bought a fifth wheel back in November and living in it and I am really struggling with my memorabilia. What do you recommend on keeping and getting rid of such items?
