Another way to say ‘Mom I am hungry’ is:
Message Bible-Mama I am hungry
NIV-Mother I am hungry
KJV-Henceforth let it be known unto thee, birth giver, that my belly consists of emptiness

How should we view critical scholars like Dan McClellan who claims to know what the Bible actually means that goes against the core of Christianity?

I just want to clarify something regarding the Sabbath day.

The Bible states that the Sabbath is on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday (Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 20:8-11). From the beginning of creation, God set apart the seventh day as a day of rest and holiness. Jesus observed the Sabbath (Luke 4:16), and it remains a sign of our relationship with God (Ezekiel 20:20).

Historically, the change from Saturday to Sunday worship wasn’t based on Scripture but was instituted by the Catholic Church. In the 4th century, Emperor Constantine enacted Sunday as a day of rest, and the Catholic Church later affirmed it as the new day of worship. However, the Bible and the Gregorian calendar both affirm that Saturday is the seventh day. Keeping the Sabbath on this day is about following God’s original command, not man-made traditions. Honoring the Sabbath means acknowledging the day God blessed and sanctified.
