I got the premier Nelson but in brown, which has raised hubs, And better ribbons, I love the comfort print, i’m in my late 70s now so it really helps a lot, To be in 12 point is better also for me, as my eyesight is failing.. just a wonderful Bible for the money 💰...🙏✅

I love my KJV in this, and I just got the NKJV Thinline in this series, which is very nice also.

Very good review! I have both bibles. The Nelson has translation notes whereas the Canterbury does not. Also, the Nelson's notes include archaic word definitions. The Canterbury goatskin is superior, sub-headings make it much easier to find stuff, red verse numbers add elegance, the drop caps are beautiful, and I like the paper better.

Great video, did the lady from Thimas Nelson say that the KJV premier collections have real leather liners? If so what kind of leather is the liner made of on that KJV Premier Collection you are showing in this video?

The only reason u can't roll the calfskin is bc it's not leather-lined. The new Schuyler Mahogany Calfskin is leather lined and you can roll it. Just like the CBP ironed calfskin, top grain calfskin Bibles or any book that's leather lined. That Schuyler you have has a paste off liner that's why u can't roll the cover up. I also think hands down ANY Jongbloed printed paper blows a Chinese printed paper out of the water. But I have all the premier collection translations and they are all very nice for sure, the European paper is nice; both the 1st and 2nd editions of the premier collection scr and double columns. The humble lamb KJV lion and the Schuyler WMs paper is next to none. You've probably got that one by now being this is an old video. Also the Allan NCR 36gsm is smoother than the Schuyler but the WM Canterbury is next level paper.

If only they had a red word letter version
