GTA Online New Weaponized Conada Helicopter Review!

My review on the new Weaponized Conoda added as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC.

For people wondering why I didn't compare it against the Akula and Hunter its because it has no chance. Its more comparable to helicopters like the Buzzard and sparrow. Its not an amazing helicopter but for people who say its the worst helicopter in the game it isn't. I know some people might be disagreeing with me but I just liked the helicopter and its climbing abilities.

There is no way you are going to pick this over akula or hunter in most scenarios. I would be okay with it if you could spawn it as ceo.

No reason to use this over a buzzard or sparrow for utility. The hunter, akula and savage outclasses this thing in combat.

My theory is that the buzzard won't return in GTA VI and will be replaced by this thing, they added this to GTAO because they already made the model for it.

The most annoying & disappointing thing is that the Conada in the first Mercenaries mission has explosive rounds for its MGs. That’s what I was most looking forward to 🙁
And no bloody counter measures! 🤬

As for the engines, Rockstar could have made it more powerful than the standard Conada. In real life, the military usually ask for upgraded engines over the civilian version of the aircraft.

Hey TheProfessional, there is a weird thing about jets and especially helis, where if you spawn it in on the road it flys slower, and helis climb slower, but if you exit the hanger with them then it goes faster and climbs faster, idk if you know this but that can also make testing inaccurate

Imo, they should have made this helicopter the new CEO vehicle. We need another weaponized chopper available in the CEO vehicles list.

There's a tactic that you can use for speed for helicopters I noticed. Basically with the same properties as a plane trading altitude for AirSpeed will increase your AirSpeed. Basically what happened is you need to decrease your altitude as you're flying straight and then abruptly start climbing while Moving Straight at Full Throttle. I notice you will gain typically around 20 to 40 knots.

I'll pass on this one. Not only is the Weaponized Conada (and the regular one) ugly asf, but for 3.4 mil you get worse machine guns and the same missles on the Buzzard.

You also can't call it through CEO nor through the Kosatka, unlike the Buzzard and Sparrow respectively.

This is a mediocre helicopter turned into trash by its price tag and it's cheaper competitors, whom are infinitely more useful.

You're the only person who made a decent review of this thing. People are just blind ranting about this helicopter, I know that 1 homing missile to take down is a con, but 6 explosive rounds is what really gives you a chance since you can just fly straight to the homing and you're fine but railguns and explosive sniper are the big threat. Thing is, in any heli if someone can track you with a homing and you're in a bad position you're pretty much dead.

My pros:

Decent armor
Smooth Handling
Better range
It's small
2nd player can shoot missiles
Can tank explosive rounds and railgun

Cons:

2 players only
1 homing rocket to take down
Countdown missiles
No barrage
No countermeasures

The one thing that really bothers me is that the missles are from the buzzard and i hate the cooldown. And the armor my god 🤦🏼‍♂️

I did buy it, mainly for the looks cause cmon it is a good looking helicopter with missiles as an offensive option. Definitely not as good as the buzzard but what can you expect from R* nowadays besides mediocrity and low effort. I know them buffing it is practically never gonna happen but for them to justify the steep price it definitely needs spam rockets and maybe countermeasures. If it had those two things it would be worth it but still very expensive

I would have at least expected cannons like on the rouge, or a slight ammount of protection against missiles

Might get when it’s 40% off but not worth at full price. Watched DCA review and he wasn’t impressed by it much. Has missile pod like the Akula but has Buzzard fire rate and has worse mini gun fire rate than it as well (compared it to like the OG Annihilator). I feel it should’ve had the fire rate like the Akula for its missiles and give it explosive rounds like the Savage to make it worth 3.7M.

GhilieMaster made a video and made this vehicle the WORST helicopter for $3.3 million. Don’t buy it!
