Being a childhood friend, Britney Spears has mentioned Christina Aguilera a number of times throughout her career. When asked about Xtina, Britney said Xtina was truly talented and that Legendtina inspired her.

That had to be hard for Britney when Christina won the award that she and Carson presented, since she was also one of the contestants. She handled it with dignity and class.

Britney and Christina are two of the biggest stars of the 2000s. They were two of the biggest rivalry in Pop music. Those who started following them during 1999, the rivalry was so crazy. Britney has Pepsi, Christina has Coca-Cola. Their MTV Boxing match (I forgot the segment) Their every MTV Diary and VH1 stories, all their Dolls, tours, magazine covers etc. The media started to pit them. for a time, Christina went out being a Bitch to Britney during her Stripped Era. But you know, no matter what the media says, no matter what happens to their careers and their personal lives, let us not forget that they were childhood friends and will always have a soft spot for each other.

My only wish is that hopefully one day, these two legends will have a good private time with each other and their families. Bonding together. Catching up! And surprise us fans with their DUET!!!

You know what Britney needed...she needed Christina Aguilera!!! Christina was able to be strong and keep her voice through the music industry. Christina would've stuck up for her maybe punched a couple conservatives lol. Ì feel like Christinas childhood made her strong, a fighter, know what she wanted and what she did not, what treatment to allow, she was guarded. Britney came in so sweet. Look up "Britney Spears Grammy Nominations Interview 2000". Another one is the interview she did with Diane Sawyer in 2003 where she says "she wished she had a voice like Christina".
