If you dont play with your console connected with ethernet, you will rarely be first place in multiplayer games. Being wited matters.

But the range is decreased, if your a good distance away it could cause game disconnects. While 5ghz is faster, it has less range. Most online games don't take up much bandwidth to play so this is more for downloads then playing? Though go ethernet if possible much better lol
