For the dinosaur incubation period, since the eggs are relatively small in comparison to their body size, it is also possible that they could have only laid the eggs when they were closer to the date of hatching, not only immediately after fertilization. Even looking at snakes, some lay eggs, some have live young, and pretty sure I have seen instances of kinds that hold the eggs inside their bodies until the young were about to hatch. So it is possible that with the eggs being smaller than the bodies, the eggs could remain in the parent for longer. Birds eggs are much closer to the full size of the parent, so it is harder to lay multiple eggs within a short period of time, without replacing that body mass.i believe we won't be fully certain of dinosaur reproduction habits until a gravid(or pregnant) dinosaur that is about to lay their eggs is found, and see how developed those eggs are already.

I'm surprised that they seem to think all dinosaur embryos and eggs were all the same, either reptilian or avian, when I'm guessing there were both as well as possibly a different form/process. And the assumption that the embryos of all types developed at the same rate.

I don't think weight should be considered when dealing with fossils, mainly because most fossils are made completely out of rock, over time the bones and other fossilized things lose their minerals and are replace with stones turning them into fossils.

This makes perfect sense. The bigger longer, setting on eggs would not work on large dinosaurs. The more developed at birth the longer in the shell.
