My wife loves Moscato and now she has me drinking it! I never been a big beer fan or straight whiskey for that matter but love a mixed drink like Tequela sunrise or margaritas. We are in our late 50's and I have to admit there is nothing better than sitting on the back patio drinking a couple glasses of Moscato. I will drink regular wine but really can't stand the dry unsweet taste. I think Moscato is a good drink for old folks like me!!

Water had always been my drink of choice. An acquaintance introduced me to Riesling. I tried a few different Rieslings. They were okay, not great, just okay. Then? I went to a wine tasting, discovered Moscato on that day! Moscato has become my very favorite.

A couple years ago I happened upon something I really love, now. I was looking at different ice wines to take as a gift to a get together. I found Quady Winery's Black Muscat - Elysium! I'm hooked on it! It's a very unusual wine with notes of rose, cherry, lychee & strawberry.

It's ABV is 15%. There's the extra bonus!

I love moscato. But I'm trying to find a balance w both sweet PLUS a slightly higher alcohol content. Nothing crazy as it's obviously wine not hard liquor. Just want a bit more alcohol content and still be somewhat sweet.
Any suggestions????

I like Moscato because I'm not a fake person who pretends to like disgusting red wine. I don't understand people who pretend like they have a taste for good wine and torture their taste buds with the most bitter and rancid red wines... It's like a right of passage to look classy or something. Give me a good beer or Moscato. Something that actually tastes good.

patio pounder lmao more like inflatable pool puker lol but i was looking for a white wine i can both drink and cook with and wanted something better than table white so i got this bare foot moscato at 9% a bit sweet but maybe good chilled, what im hoping for is it makes a great wine for say cooking a braised porc chop with a mushroom/onion cream wine sauce, , , please tell me it will still have that sour taste i expect in a wine sauce that tells you this is a wine sauce and not peach desert, hope it reduces right specially with such low abv
