Karachi-Style Chicken Biryani 🥵🤝

Welcome to episode 1 of my new series: “recipes that remind me of home”! Let’s make spicy sindhi chicken biryani 💛

🍚 Recipe Ingredients:
Sela Rice 4 cups (soak for 1 hour. Soak for 30 minutes if using basmati rice)
Water 2 litres or as required
Sirka 1 tbsp
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp salt

Ghee 1/2 cup
1 medium onion
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
4 large tomatoes
2 green chilis chopped
1 kg chicken
2 large potatoes chopped
1/4 cup water
Also add 1 chicken cube

Yogurt 1 cup
Nation biryani masala 1 packet
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric/halsi powder
1 tap zeera
1 whole lemon juice

Coriander, mint & green chillis as required.

Toppings for dum : more coriander, mint, green chilli, lemon slices and ghee. Red and orange food colour.
