Have to agree, Trump should NOT have been mentioned during his funeral, that was disgraceful. . McCain didnt want him there is person, should not have been mentioned in spirit.

That's funny! When I saw that "sacrifice everything" thing yesterday, and didn't even think of the kneeling controversy, I just responded with an equally inspirational quote. "People who don't stand for something might fall for anything".

1) As a black man, I would respect Nike using Micchael Vick, more than Colin Kaepernick.
2) I think it would have been a better political statement, had the President lowered the flag for Aretha Franklin, and then just let it stay down for Sen. McCain.

Three errors by Ben today, two about legal matters which surprises me. 1. Kavanaugh replaces Kennedy and not Scalia. Kennedy was a more moderate swing vote so the replacement is more significant than Ben described. 2. Harry Reed's nuclear option did not include Supreme Court nominees. It was McConnell who made the change to remove the filibuster for SC nominees, but they could not have done it if Harry Reed not opened the door.. 3. Kapernick was not opposing cops shooting black people. He said after his first demonstration that he was opposing America as a racist country. I believe that is much more significant. He was not opposing the idea that there is racism in America or that some cops are racist, he was saying the whole country is racist.

Am I the only one that remembers Kaepernick didn't kneel at first? He was just sitting down during the anthem for a couple games, folks asked him why, then he tossed out his "because of oppression" stuff and started kneeling. He didn't have a press conference and say "I will no longer stand", they just asked him why he was sitting down.
