I just love how, in a few decades, after he’s been inducted into the Hall of Fame, we all get to say we watched him hit 40/40, and who knows what else.

Suddenly the team is starting to feel special. Real special.

Watching the replay, I see why the guy with the glove didn't catch the home run ball. There was a man standing next to him who also tried to catch it and bumped into his hand (glove), pushing it out of the way so that neither of them caught it.

FYI: it was two Rays fans who tried to catch Shohei’s walk off GS. They definitely would’ve demanded a kings ransom for the ball had it been caught.

Mild correction Jeff, he also hits on his start days

Oh, and that's Ohtani's first walk-off HR of his career.

I think Bobby just earned his next start. Some mistakes, yeah, for sure but the command and pitching sequence was a lot better.

At this point Ohtani can take a crap and it'll probably be record setting

ohtani doesn't need to go on a tear...he is exactly on pace for 50/50.

Ohtani's been on pace for around *65-70 HR PER 162 games* after the all star break. His pace of around 50 homeruns to finish the season has been in play for half of the season especially aftee the all star break.

The guy on the right hasnt been keeping up with Ohtani's steady pace.

Looking to next season: Would it be a good idea to keep Ohtani from pitching until August, September to keep his arm sound and injury free ? Dodgers will have a deep starting rotation next season too and we probably will not need him in the rotation for the regular season.

Sosa hit 20 in a month shocan do 10 easily if they play in good parks home being one. The one tonight might not go out of a lot of parks. Dodgers is a hitters park now. It use to be a big pitcher park

If Shohei was in the AL, Judge might steal it from him again. But in the NL, the competition for the MVP is weak.

Shohei has shown himself to be nothing but a stat compiler. He’s not established himself as a winner. Neither has Judge.
