So pretty! I seem to grow oncidiums the best but I still have the balina on my wish list, I love the flowers and size. I'd love to get some bigger phals, maybe later, no room right now! Gorgeous girl!

Blooming at that size it kind og reminds me of Sweet Memory / Liodora which is my all time favorite scented orchid. ❤

I love this primary hybrid. I have got three Gigabell Kung Sir seedlings and hope I get at least one to bloomingsize.
They all look like gigantea babies.

I have a large phalaenopsis that is in bloom constantly for the past year then it started producing a new leaf and a new flower spike before the older flower spikes were even done so I recently cut all three flower spikes off. I was afraid it would kill itself!

Gigabell do you cut out the damage part of the leaf?🎃

I've been looking for orquids like these but they are not widely available and those that are are insanely expensive.

Hey Dani,

do you have any advice or care tips for orchids that have been sunburnt? I made the rookie mistake of leaving some of mine on the window sill and they suffered from the unsually hot fall day. Some have the top leaf burn at the base all the way to the stem and I'm wondering if they will still be able to produce new leafs or I am to expect keikis instead.

Thank you ! <3

I noticed one of the leaves has yellowing . What causes this?

Has anyone ever had a flower spike grow roots? I’m wondering what is happening with my orchid….the cane produced two flower spikes and they have long since bloomed and been removed. A new growth appeared at the base of the cane and then stopped growing. Then a bump appeared on the cane just below where the flower spikes were. The bump grew into a flower spike and is currently blooming. To my absolute surprise, there are now six roots growing from where the flower spike attaches to the cane. It looks like a keike but there are no leaves, just a spike. What is happening here??!!!

I tried growing one from a orchid shop in the Bay Area - it died. 😢
