Very good review again! However 13°c Inside temperature is unacceptable. I think the company will receive many complaints about that and rightly so 😂.

Here in Gothenburg, Sweden we have a couple lines with this bus. It's a little shorter with three doors and less screns. We also have up to 100% electric in the city but the rest of the lines are either volvo buses or trams. The only scenarios where there are diesel buses are the lines that travel a long way between cities or if we run out of electric buses (Malfunctioning, many of them have problems with the doors not closing or opening). Great video!

I love the MAN Lion's City 18E! We got currently 2 arpund but they might move to another depot due to the 2 low bridges in the city so i kinda disappointed that they cant be used in this region but the new VDL LF-122 (maybe LF-181) Will take place and so will the new Iveco Electric 18m (Iveco Heuliez)

An excellent bus. 18 meters arti driving 2 axles must be hard on the power supply in the dark during the winter months.

Finally someone said it is a bad idea to have 13c in the busses. Who wants to take the bus then? I also think it goes the other way in the summer when they are not running the A/C

The box Tom is complaining about contains one of the electric motors. They are not out in the wheel hubs.

That is a surprise - didn't know the 18e is driven by the two rear axles.

13 degrees is stupid. For example you could have webasto diesel heater, 0, 3 liters of HVO100 per hour. Totally carbon neutral.

Nice Magne and Tom. Havent seen one in real life, and very nice we get the info we want. When is your next visit to Belgium?

I love these busses, but why did they enter service with all 76 at the same time, instead of staggering them, it seems like if you have unforeseen problems they would affect the whole fleet.

How about the articulation mechanism. I dislike if it makes a lot creak and squeaking. Was it silent enough?

Nice bus! But only the articulated version of the MAN electric buses of the new generation is more cute than other versions. Because the other versions of these generation are hot.

Does this bus really have electric ramps? Because they just look like normal ramps😅

In Stavanger electric busses from Volvo use diesel powered webasto to keep the heat up. They are supposed to use heating rods but that consumes battery, thus shorter range. But Oslo`s stupid politicians have phobia against diesel so i`m not surprised these new MAN busses have no webasto to keep the heat up.

Looks sharp. I still don’t trust EV’s Granted in this application it may work just fine. Snow and road salt doesn’t play well with complex electronics and electrical components. Still very interesting and informative.
