Samsung Galaxy A51 in 2024 - Still Worth It?

One of the best Samsung midrange phones ever is the Galaxy A51.
Released in the end of 2019 the A51 is 4 years old. Despite its age there are many people who use this phone and I have even seen some who still consider buying it.
In this video I give my opinion about this device and tell you if the A51 is still worth it in 2024.

My a51 works great to this day! From Verizon wireless. I've had 0 problems with it, still getting updates. Battery has no problem, love this phone! I don't play games on it, that's for my iPad or Samsung galaxy tablet. People still to this day comment on the pictures it takes and they have iPhone. Many have asked me to use my phone to take pictures because they look better. Maybe because I use a Google gcam apk camera app. Anyway still rocking this old phone.

Got mine back in mars of 2021 brand new and i have never factory reset it once since that. And let me tell you it runs pretty smooth still to this day. Its still a good mid range phone. And i believe it was the most sold samsung world wide back in 2020. Im gona rock this phone prolly 3-4 more years then upgrade its no need to upgrade phones every year. Tech moves so fast but your phone is good around 7-8 years if you buy a new model when it comes out.

Yup when it comes to display this is AWESOME phone ❤ and I love how light waiting and does gaming well and my A51 is having great battery life and it's been 4 years but good great

I have my a51 5g purchased i Taiwan last 2019..all i can say is my phone very tough, the battery still long to use before lowbat...very nice phone

It's nearly 4 years since I owned my Samsung A51. I have dropped it so many times (not too high), but still durable and working well. Although the USB port has issues sometimes. I can say it still 85% smooth because I always maintain its screen and body protection by using cases all the time.

Since my a51 is outdated.. all i can say i enjoyed my 5 year journey with it... right now i upgraded it to a55 another 5 yr to it.

After 4 years I can see mine slowing down a bit, and sometimes it gets stuck on rebooting. Still love the phone, but might need to finally upgrade soon.

i had it since 2020 and a couple of weeks ago it started restarting and sometimes it gets into a loop of restarts, annoying as hell and also very slow in 2024..

I bought mine in 2020 and I'm watching this video on it LOL. Mine still works great and I think wouldn't be replacing it for another year.
- Battery isn't an issue for me, I'm okay with charging it twice a day but when I can't bc I'm out then the power saving mode is great! The screen turns completely black with only necessary apps on it.
- I play games on it, mostly light puzzle games, and it runs them smoothly.
- the cameras are good imo but yeah agree with the front cam not being that good at skin color accuracy. I've used the macro cam a lot for reading the micro prints on products LOL.
- the mic is great 👀
- it has stopped getting updates frequently, which is expected bc it's an old model now.

I mainly use this phone for SNS and internet browsing, playing games and recording audio so this phone is enough for me, 128 GB is plenty. And I think it would be enough for most ppl who don't do any heavy tasks on their phones.

But I wouldn't buy it in 2024 if the price isn't at least 40% down the price I paid back in 2021.

used this for 4 years, before upgrading to the s20fe 5G. such a big difference in performance icl. if youre on a really tight budget, just get the a52 or a52s. this one is obsolete atp. its too slow, but the battery isnt too bad.

I'm from Brasil and I buy this phone in Porto Seguro, in 2020 and I still using now. Sunsung is like nokia in the past 😂. I always buy sansung and I don't have any reclamation. 👍

Actually I'll use this phone two more years because my phones battery life is Awesome and I play pubg every day from day one 🎉 . It runs smooth 60fps sometimes drops 30fps during rendering. I don't know why but after using this a51 8gb I don't like new Samsung galaxy phone design actually I'll buy note10 plus ❤ for storage use.

It was excellent phone untill I gave it to my mom, then She didn't used it well and now I'm using it with motherboard problem with weak cellular network issue.But still It is my favoutite one and it is way ahead in terms of screen bezel size as of this year's all midranges.
