Christ is risen! Do you believe?

God had a plan to draw all people to Himself by bearing our sin and pain. God's plan was for Jesus to live on earth, die a death on a cross, but also to rise from the dead and rule forever. At this time, Jesus' disciples had only experience the suffering part of God's plan and they are perplexed.

The women came to the tomb, behold it was empty and the angel asked them "Why do you seek the living among the dead?". If the angels remember God's word, why do we forget? Let us not forget or minimize God's power and wisdom, but trust in Him who can raise the dead.

The disciples heard the news but they didn't believe and two of them left for their village. They were hopeless and then Jesus met them and He explained to them their own scriptures. All of them had their own earthly dreams, but they had to die for themselves to experience the power of His resurrection, to know God as He really is.

Let us also seek and say, "Not me, oh God, but You may be the most important person in my life". Then, we'll experience the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
