Dude how you naturally handle yourself in these videos is just awesome! Plus the knowledge is so valuable! I'm sold on getting a Wing!

I love your videos and have learned so much.
THIS was exactly what I thought we should have. You are awesome.

I am curious on how low you're able to get your latency?

I'm currently wanting to use SuperRack performer w/ a new M4 Mac Mini to insert plugins on a Yamaha DM7C.

Wondering if I can get away with the USB-C to Host or should I pick a Dante interface (RME Digiface)

Any input would be greatly appreciated

I‘m glad you demonstrated the „correct“ way of inserting effects/processing into a channel/bus and didn‘t go into detail on the workarounds like sending inputs post preamp to SuperRack and then into channel processing. But the „correct“ way reveals the on major shortcoming the Wing has: Wing only allows external inserts via the effects units. And it has 16 of them. That means you‘re limited to 16 external insert, each of which on top will make that FX unit unavailable for internal processing. That means if you use 14 external inserts to Waves, you‘ll have two internal FX processors left and so on. I find that a little ironic, on a console with not only tons of routing options in general, but also tons of possible insert point in channels and busses. I really hope the developers find a way to give us more external inserts. I don‘t mind doing that via the FX units, but they could give us like 32 or 48 „dummy“ FX units with no internal FX types selectable, only „external“. Allen&Heath SQ for example is only limited by IO options. Each channel can have an insert. But the Wing is quite ahead in almost every other aspect, so…

I find making a snippet to reset all inputs (bypassing waves) to the channels directly as easy as using the 'external-inserts'. But, nice video!

Drew, I'm new to the Behringer family but not new to digital mixers. I'd like to see videos specific to the X32 Rack for those of us strictly operating with tablets and/or laptops. The X32 videos you have posted are exceedingly helpful in learning the ins/outs of the X32 for those of us without the benefit of a full console interface, learning how to setup and mix with a tablet or a computer is a little bit different. Please consider X32 rack specific at least add-on X32 rack videos which take use your existing videos as pre-requisites to an X32 Rack video.

Hello Drew, great videos as always. One thing that a lot of people haven't recorded videos on is multitracking to the computer plus using Waves SoundGrid/SuperRack Performer at the same time. For all of the videos for the X32/M32 series, The Wing series, The A&H SQ or D Live Series, are all consoles I mix on a lot. Coming from the USB output with the X/M Series, Wing Series, or SQ series in which I can easily multitrack from the console, how do I setup to be able to use both Multitracking plus waves processing at the same time. I multitrack ALL of my live Showa or church services but want to get into using Waves plugins inserted on my channels as well. Can I do both - Multitrack and use waves from the standard USB on the console.

Hi Drew, I love at least the look of those acoustic panels behind you. Would you recommend for band-in-sanctuary? Provide a link?

The only sucky thing about doing this the insert route is that you’re limited by the amount of effects racks. Hopefully they address this in a later firmware update, maybe with “virtual racks” or something of that sort. Or by just bypassing the rack for hardware inserts all together. I think getting this right would be smart with the strength of computers and more people moving to SuperRack Performer.

Hi, I’m curious to see how the wing rack with waves sound grid, might work in the recording studio. Could you possibly do video about that? If not, perhaps leave some comments?

Hi Drew, a quick question, can you also do a video of using waves superrack performer on a Dante network on M32 or Wing or X32. I do run an M32 and Dl32.

Hey man, great video!

Looking at getting into this ecosystem but my main question that I can't seem to get a clear answer on is, when routing as USB output (and not going as an FX insert) how this doesn't create a feedback loop/how you still have signal hitting the channels from the stage rack etc. If I'm setting channel output through USB to hit waves and then the input of that channel back to USB return, does that not A) break the input chain - i.e. the channel is no longer receiving from stage source and also B) would that not just create a feedback loop?

I.e. when you choose the output to USB is that coming straight from the patch pre gain/processing etc. and not actually as an output of that channel?

Also to further pick your brain - if one is routing out via USB to superrack, is it possible to simultaneously run outs over Dante (with the necessary card) to multitrack and is the virtual soundcheck compatible to drop in returns from Dante or should one stick to the SD card option which seems more supported but less flexible?

Hey Drew! I would like to choose a PC instead of a Mac for this. Which PC specs I will need to have for the lowest latency? Thanks a lot! :)

Does the Compact Wing already come equipped with a Waves card or is that something to request/add upon ordering?

This console comes with the Wawes card, what if the client wants to add it? Or do you do it with the version without that card? What would be the difference using that additional wawes card inside the wing?

Are you going to make a video with the Wing and Superrack Soundgrid?

Merci drew, pouvez vous décrire chacun des fx interne de la wing et donner des tips sur leurs utilisation.

Noob here: why would you want to use waves in the first place? Aren’t there enough effects available on the board itself?

Thank you Drew,
Now I really need to get myself the new console... I already own a x32 compact and a x32 rack. I already have the compact wing and the wing rack in the basket at my favorite dealer... 🙄
