About this channel: Welcome to my channel. I'm Amber Smith. My husband Granger and I live on a little farm in central Texas with lots of animals and our beautiful, super funny kiddos. We have London, Lincoln, River (who is now with Jesus) and Maverick. This channel is a spin off of our family vlog The Smiths.

I started Arise, when we lost our son, to share my feelings of loss, grief, love, hope, parenting and my faith journey along the way. We comb through scripture, I share what the Lord puts on my heart, I answer questions and more. My hope through Arise is that something I say makes you want to seek Jesus. He changed my life and my heart when I was in my 30s and I've been sharing the good news ever since.

My husband Mike passed away over 10 years ago from cancer. Our daughter was 8 years old at the time. Her daddy said that he when he dies he would visit her as a butterfly to let her know that he's OK. We live in Missouri. He passed away on November 8th. About 2 weeks after he passed, it was a cold and very windy day and my little girl and I were walking in to the movie theater together when out of nowhere there was a butterfly flying around her. It landed on the ground in front of her and she was able to put her tiny finger out and the butterfly climbed on her finger and sat there for what seemed like 30 seconds and then it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. God allowed that to my happen for our baby girl and I will forever be grateful to Him for that and I will forever share that story! Thank you for sharing your stories and for spreading God's love! 🙏

I am going back to the Ep 1 and will follow your journey until I catch up and begin watching real-time. I am doing the same with Granger's Podcast. I caught a few of them and decided to go back to Ep 1 and start at the beginning! You and Granger have been instrumental in bringing me back to God. I am Christian and raised in the church but as a human and sinner, got very complacent! It feels so good to be hearing and feeling Him again! Thank you!

I was going to ask in grangers podcast about how to read the Bible, and how to understand the Bible today and then I watched this podcast and you said seamless the Bible study and it answered my question.
