i like how simple you become once you drive/own a lotus elise. You know, Paul got heated and cooled seat and apple car play and so on. But in a Lotus you just need to fit and that is all you want and need.

When I bought my Elise almost 20 yrs ago, I had no trouble getting in or out of it.
Now that I'm in my sixties, I can't bend as easily as I used to, so I feel like I've had a workout when I try and get myself out.
And I weigh less now than I did then.

Yes, if you do not crash it and need body repairs it is a fun car. But you should do your morning routine of stretching before getting into one of these.

On German autobahn it does not make that much sense, you have to go to some backroads in the hills to have fun.

I'll take my '05 Vette every day over a C7 or C8. I know they are technologically superior, but that is also part of the problem. I can wrench on damn near anything on my car... newer ones, forget it. And when they went away from the round tail-lights to whatever the hell those things are, I just want to vomit in my mouth whenever I see them.

Theres really no comparing a ultra lightweight, perfect handling, ultimate cornering and efficient Elise and a pig iron, bloated, low power per litre Corvette.
