this thing happen. that's why in my country we always attend our child baby. we never left them unguarded. there are many eagles flying over the hills and mountains of nepal.

I can't be 100 percent certain if this is real or not but a friend of mine lost her son's dog from an Australian Sea Eagle attack..The bird swooped down right in front of her, picking up the terrier.The dog was found a kilometer away mangled.I am sure an Eagle could pick up a child of this size with relative ease.

The baby staying limp makes sense. Even adults have very delayed reactions when bizarre things happen unexpectedly, and a baby will not understand what's going on. Notice he starts to cry after he experiences the fear of the adults (and possibly the ouch of the fall).

I believe it. The toddler falls slowly at first, due to slowed upward momentum from the eagle's speed. A child is used to being picked & isn't in the habit of hunching. The weight is a definite possibility....even for a weighty little boy. Sizeable lambs & young goats are carried away regularly in certain areas.

Very real. I don't know why some people think this is fake. And if it is fake, I stand to be corrected.

It does appear to still be stuck on the last claw when it's still rising, and there does appear to be a very small crest of a hill where the shadow appears, and babies rarely ever flail when picked up.

What a coincidence just a year ago from today I was walking my baby second cousin Isaac Huckletoms and an eagle snatched him right out of his stroller and flew him back to his house and dropped him on the lawn it was really messed up my whole family is on Prozac now

Reactions seem normal considering the speed of the attack. All of this happens very quickly and without warning or much noise. many of your theories do have reasonable explanations. And this bird can do what we see in the video and such has been clearly documented.

Also if you notice that in slow motion you can see everyframe of the movement of the bird. In a regular video you would not be able to see smooth frame by frame movement of the wings. This means it's special effects 3D model. Which has filled every frame so no matter what speed you will see it clearly. But if you record a real bird you would only be able to see it with 3-30k fps camera.

I'm not surprise. There are cases where eagles snatched a full grown adult in Asia.

It actually might be real. The thing which tells me its a fake is the fact that the guy in that stripy shirt doesn't seem to care about the huge bird flying towards him.

The baby later went on to be in the Steve Miller band and wrote the song "Fly like an Eagle".

This is really scary. My baby brother died the exact same way.

It's definitely a fake; just look at the lack of deep strokes. A lot of times animators fail to make the motion look very real. The way the eagle just glides towards the baby and manages to lift him/her with hardly a pause, and with no deep strokes to generate lift, it screams animation. It's just way too fluid, and there is no air resistance or gravity taken into mind. The simply don't know how wings move: maybe they should have chosen to animate something a bit more familiar?

It has already been claimed to be fake by the creater. It was a school project to create a video with certain amount of minimum views and not to mention he nailed the project with millions of views.

I also find the acceleration of the eagle way to fast, from around 0:12 to 0:14. He makes no move nor narrows his wings, considering his size, he comes closer much too fast...
