Hah. The icing on the banana is that, if peeled along the holes, peeling removes all evidence of how the trick was performed.

Great for bringing for lunches too. I use this trick pretty often, as I kind of hate banana, but will eat it in chunks/slices.

You can make a 'magic trick' from this.
Prep the banana as shown then bet someone that you can slice a banana by throwing playing cards at it. Have your friend hold the banana and the throw 1/2 dozen cards towards it, 'Frizbee style'. The cards go all over the place and you lose the bet. Until you tell your friend to peel the banana.
